Got out on the water with my friend, his wife and their dog. (attempted to) trolled the northern side of the lake. tried everything in the box, wedding rings tipped, HD trout, lake troll gear, kitchen sink.... No bites as we went down and back... wind picked up really bad and called it quits before 2:30. Read reports of other catching fish... to be honest, i wasn't holding my breath with the added company (dog).

You should try the South end near Wenburg. Starting from the park and heading towards the end of the peninsula is also a great stretch for running into some fish. The north end is pretty shallow and i haven't had much luck on that end except maybe for some Small mouth.
Good Luck!

Yea south end is much better trout fishing. Ive noticed the majority of the fish are hanging out under 10 feet of depth. In the morning they are along the southwestern shore, pretty close, within 50-75 feet, same for the southeastern shore, but I dont mark as many. As the day progresses they seem to move out more towards the middle of the lake. I usually run 1 line in the 5-10 feet down range and the other on a downrigger chasing bigger marks, lately around 20 feet down.
