New to this site but need to know which county and lake/river selection I need to make for Lake Roosevelt...... my report is that 3 of us put in at Keller Ferry on Sat Feb 20. We fished up and down river with down riggers at 10 and 14 feet along with planner boards and out the back on the surface. The day was beautiful and no wind but we threw everything at them from lures, maggots and corn with nothing to report. We met up with two boats at the launch and they had nothing to report as well other than the drop in the water may have effected the fish bite. If anyone caught fish that day they were using dynamite........ best of luck and I hope it gets batter.

Spokane River confluence down to Dam is area 18. Just got back from fishing above Keller today and got our 4 Kok's and 2 bows. Released the bows. Keep at it and you will figure out were and how. Look for the other boats not hard to tell. Your fishing right depths. Look at all the other reports from area 18 for the last month and take that info with you next time you are down. Good luck:)

I was fishing that day...We did well at your depths in 65 to 40 FOW...We did best on pink hootchies with silver smiley blades...I have found with Kokanee fishing is to find a bend in the lake where the wind puts the chop to the shore.. This will be where Kokanee food is.. Best to look on Google Earth and you can study these places...Good luck to you..
