Took my grandson fishing Saturday afternoon. He was never really interested in fishing before because he'd never caught a fish when he went with us, but we talked him into going. On the east shore, I set him up with a bobber and worm. He made a pretty nice cast and within minutes it was bobber down. He pulled in a nice 11 1/2 inch rainbow - his first fish. We may convert him yet. He wanted to catch another, but no more bites. It was rainy and wet, so we called it a day after I caught one. Had a fun time and hot cocoa after we got home.

love seeing a kids first fish.My first wasn't such a happy occasion.Grampa took me down on the columbia river.Fixed me up with a worm and bobber.Half hour later bobber down, pulled in a sturgeon all of 6 inches long.Took me a month to forgive grandpa for throwing it back in the river.

Bradly can be fun - go stake out a spot on the dock at the South end. The newly planted come cruising by in waves - My grand-daughter caught her first 4 there. Take a big umbrella grandpa!
