I haven’t been to this lake since 4-21-15. I was amazed at how low the water was after our long, dry, hot, summer.
It was mostly cloudy and when I started, 8:30am, there wasn’t any wind but later it did kick up a bit. My motors started up pretty quick. This year they have challenged me. If they start relatively easy it is a good day.
I saw several eagles and took pictures of my rods, fish finder, and dirty boat. When the wind blows at my house the fir needles cover my boat.
The military was out scuba diving. Then one fire department boat came out diving, as well. Saw lots of fish on my finder but didn’t get a single bite. There were a couple of bait balls and then several things I thought might be ropes. I got off the water about 11:30.
One thing I learned is going through Tillicum at noon is like traffic on 405 by Renton on a week day morning. Everyone was headed to a fast food restaurant and the end of the line was in the road.
