Well, decided to give this ol girl a run for her money again. On the water by 730 first cast by 735. Throwing a jerkbait so i can go for the big trout or largies that reside here.. water is down about 4 to 5 ft. Maybe even more. Start off casting towards docks with a weed line.. no hits. Work down the grass line and switch up jerkbaits from an stx to the good ol shadow rap with the spinning rod. Wind was blowing about 5-10 mph.. 5 casts in hook into a 3 pound largie.. couple casts later see some commotion off to the left. Chuck it over there then Mr big brownie annihilates it. 17 inches and built. Wind picks up, catch 3 more browns on the shadow rap. Then it cracks on me, switch colors. Bite dies off.. start throwing a bigger squarrbill, first cast and a big brown smokes it.. but doesn't hook up. Oh well. Fantastic day out there. I really love that lake
