Thought I would send in my report for yesterday. Had a couple hours in the morning to wet a line so I headed over to Chain lake. Never caught anything big here but it is a very peaceful spot to fish. Caught 5 or 6 standard Chain Lake Largies. Took a pic of one of them. Really just wanted to post a report for something other than Coho "not that there is anything wrong with that!"

Good report. I have been fishing Chain Lake pretty regularly for past 20 years. It has some big fish but not many. Most are in 6-9" range and on a good day you will catch something double digits 10-12" range mostly (like one in the photo). I have seen a 20" Bass, 18" Bass I caught in fall and 17.5" Bass I got this year on my birthday on buzz bait at end of August. Trout can be big here in 12"-18" range as they usually stock 12-13". Its a fun lake to fish and its great place to fish top water.
