Went to see if any silvers in yet. Got there a little late in the morning. About a dozen boats all looking for the same quarry. I saw about 6-8 fish jump throughout the morning and maybe a few small schools of fish, but no bites. Beautiful day for fishing so I tried everything from plugs to hootchie squids with smile blaqdes.

I was out there from daylight til noon yesterday (10-05-15) and threw everything but the kitchen sink at them and couldn't get a takedown!! I've been watching the Ballard Locks Fish count and only 7,000 fish have come through so far! Hopefully their just alittle late this year and it will pick up after this weeks rain. Tight lines!!

the lake is still extremely warm. I also think because of the lack of rain they cant go up the slough yet to head to the hatchery. Maybe later in the season. Or we may never see those fish.

I agree, but the ones I saw jumping were big and brite! not the little dinks I've been catching in the Green. Some rain is coming. I hope it pours so fish can sneak through this weekend. Nets are in Sunday noon through Friday noon.

I took my daughter down to bothell landing to play at the park and I saw a few jump in the slough...pretty nice looking ones. I bet this rain this week will make it decent fishing up until it closes in the lake

I sure. hope so is a hoot catching them when in. Even if lots of boats are out they are courteous and friendly. A good bunch of fisherman. If you get a chance to watch DJ catch one in his pontoon boat its pretty cool. Others will usually tell you what they are using. It changes from year to year. One of these years I want to jig for them but we need large schools. If they get that big the net come in. Is the slough open and has anyone ever been successfull catching them there?

There are less than 1/3 of the number of coho in the lake than last season's run. Unless there are a large number of fish to still enter the lake, this season's coho fishery is pretty much over.
