May 14th to 17th we were at Potholes with the Western Washington Walleye Club. Took a short hop down Sullivan dam and brought the first fish on board, a small, small, smallmouth bass, Oh well 1 fish. Then another small mouth. C&Rd both. Friday we had contact from a few club members who were on the water. We decided to make a couple of runs over at Medicare beach down to the start of Lynn Coulee. NOTHING> caught or nipped at. We then proceeded to the mouth of Crab Creek (CC). Made several floats at the mouth and further up the creek at the power lines. NOTHING> . Saturday all club boats were on the water ( 7 or 8) . We all headed for CC in 20+ mph winds from the Northeast. It was bumpy at best and I had to idol back to 12mph. Normally I would have run at 30mph. When we got into CC about a 1/2 mile the sand dunes shielded us and the winds might have been 5mph. Made many floats around the 2 or 3 holes before the power lines and brought 3 fish to the boat. All Walleye. Kept 1 which even it was C&Rd later. 17 members were present. A nice turn out for WWWC. Sunday started wet, I mean Western Wa wet. We persevered and went over tho Lynn Coulee. About an hour into this I either caught a log or a very large fish, (see photo) weight was somewhere between 5 and 6 lbs. We caught a second Perch and C&Rd it. Score 3 Walleye to boat, 2 Perch, 2 Bass, and 1 huge Trout. And with that we came home via White Pass.
