Hit the lake at first light for the first time in 15 years. I had my first fish on the second dock I fished. A 3+ LM on a broken back rebel minnow. I had a slow period for about an hour when I pulled in on a pad field with scattered wood. Lost two dinks before I scored a 4-4 followed by two about 1 1/2 lbs. All these came on a grape slither worm skittered across the pads and allowed to sink next to wood. I hit one more just before I left at noon. He came on a gitzit on a 18 foot weedline....about 2 pounds. All in all a pretty good morning. I can't believe how low the lake is...must be 2 or 3 feet down from the last time I saw it.

28" below weir. Usually in Aug./Sept. it's 10" below.

Sounds like you did a great job, congrats.

I did my once a year fishing Sawyer for 2 hours, then go to Sammamish for another couple hours, did ok on both lakes, but nothing big. I also had to test another prop, it didn't work very good at all.
