I didn't fish. I was driving to Trout Lake and stopped by to look at the water level.
I've fished this lake for 25 years and have never seen it so low.
The water is about 15 feet below the end of the ramp. The island in the middle which is usually just visible is 4-5 feet above the water level! You could navigate the sand islands with a car topper or a float tube but it's too low for a drift boat.
I saw a few fish feeding but I really wonder about fish kill from high water temperature if we don't get rain soon. All the "shallows at the north end are just dry sand.
