Went out to Ohop Lake for bass. Put in a little late around 10:00 AM. We started working the edges by the boat launch working our way around the South end using smaller white and chartreuse spinner baits and the fish were biting pretty good for about the first hour and a half. We caught and released half a dozen smaller 7-8 inchers and a couple nice 11-12 inch slot bass. Even had some large bluegill chase the lure to the boat. At midday the bite slowed down as we spent the rest of the day working the edges of the lake. The bite was really slow but we did manage to land a couple more 7-8 inch bass which we released. All in all it was a really good day to get out on the water and enjoy some quiet fishing time.
