arrived a bit late. and got going at 720. at about 720, (which i was substituting for 420), and say about 30 seconds, i had my first fish. the smallest of the day, at 13". fish seem to be beginning a "part time group meetings", in the am. it stayed like this, while i landed one for every three i had hits on, until the overcast cleared. then. the fish. well, they cleared as well. lol. got some on the green spinglo, and a couple on the short, dbbl hook with one red bead. lost one at hte net, that i swear was 16" +. i broke my minn kota yesterday. the part that locks in the holes, for adjutment? well, that snapped. so i have to find that part. so, not bad, for trolling with my 20 hp. hey? i make up for it with insane movements of the boat. no way to mess up the rigger cable. so. as usual, like last year., the last twenty fish, have produced only 4 hens. last year, at seasons end, i dont think i have more than 15 or so hens, out of all the fish i got. most likly, i will be out tomorrow, now that i see they dont mind faster trolls. kokanee are unpredictable, folks. when we dont get them. is when we become predictable! each day, someone says hi to me. now that i have "the doc" on my boat. looks like others actually did better than i did. i was the second to last koke fisher there. but, they all started super early. i may try that. i love the peace of he early morning. this new thing i marinated the corn in, is insane. none better for me yet. and yes. a secret. not exactly organic. lol.
