Got out on Mineral Lake with my girlfriend and her son bout 3pm or so. Went to the far end of the lake to get a view of the big hill and anchored up. (Girlfriends prefered fishing method) Tried worms and power bait under bobbers to no success. (Girlfriends prefered fishing method) One anchors rope was not long enough so the breeze was turning us around making the bobbers a mess. (but girlfreinds prefered fishing method) LOL. So I put on a slip sinker with about 4 feet of leader and some orange power eggs. Right off the bat I got a good size planter. Talked my girl into swithching up. An hour later she had her limit and was rubbing it in. (go figure) Her son got a nice 16 inch bow as well. Nice day, cool with a little drizzle off and on. Only bummer was some folks decided to camp out on the dock, fishing and drinking, making it useless to boat launching.
