Finally took the bird out to Sammamish and tossed a line for a few hours. First cast, first fish of the day. Tossed the DS out in 25' and it went slack after about 5-10. Quickly tightened the line and set in. Pressure and slow roll then 1 jump. Net, done! I thought this could be one of "THOSE" days but he ended up being the biggest brought in. Just over 3 pounds. Lost a largie flippin in the pads :( Also, found a potential $99 citation in my window when I was leaving for "Faded Discover Pass". Luckily I was able to talk with the ranger and he didn't issue an actual ticket but wanted to make sure I was going to get my pass re-issued. Overall, decent day.

NICE!

I didn't do that good today, but got bunches of Largies - crankbait, and bunches of Smallies - dropshot.

Oh, just thought. Ya I know, that can be dangerous. I keep my passes in the boat so they don't get faded. :-) The funny ink they use on the funny paper these days are just not that good.

Nice bass! I've never tried for bass before, do you recommend the north end of the lake or middle? Thanks

Khuong, I cant really speak to that as it was my first time on this lake and I never made it out of the south end myself. Only fished for a few hours as I had house work to do :( Amx, I'll have to figure something else out with those pesky passes...they fade so fast I'm beginning to think it's a business plan of some sort.

Just keep the pass in the glove compartment. But be VERY sure to hang it from the mirror before running off and fishing.

Fishing on Sammamish is like most all lakes, sometimes the fishing is better in one end than the other end, or the middle, so you just take your chances on where to start, where to move after not catching anything, and where to move again to find something that wants to play. Yes there are lakes that have a pissy poor end/area that is ALWAYS bad, but Sammamish isn't one of them, it can be good anywhere around the lake, or bad. O^O
