So, the family and I decided to go for a little hike today. We have been wanting to do this hike for several years and I'm so glad we did. If you like hiking and then fishing, go here. This is a beautiful high-alpine lake. The water is crystal clear and it is quite a large body of water. I only caught one but it was well worth the work to get there. I imagine a float tube and a fly rod would be amazing!!! Caught this nice bow on a red and orange wedding ring spinner, no bait, on my ultra-light rod. It was fun!!! Spooled me a couple times and jumped like a silver! Sad to say this is my first fish of the year but life, work and school leaves little time.
