First time at Baker lake. Wow, what a beautiful lake. I snowmobile Baker and have spent a lot of time on the snow but nice to see it from another angle......from my boat.

Tough day. Had one rod on the downrigger, Macks DD flasher and a smiley bade, pink hoochie with glow beads tipped with cured sandshrimp tail. Other rod on a No. 0 deep six diver, humpy special small white dodger with flash tape and same lure as other rod.

Not a hit from 5:30am till 11am

Other boats said slow too. Saw a few caught. TONS of boat very little action. I left my house at 3:30am arrived at 5:30 am and felt like I was the last one there! When they say it's an early fishery they mean it.
