This was my first time at Takhlakh Lake and I was using a float tube.

Started fishing the evening of 7/22. caught a few on a black and green bead head wooley. Not too many fish seen rising that evening.

Not much better luck on 7/23 using flies, both dry on top and buggers down deeper. Another guy on a pontoon boat was catching a few using a streamer.

On 7/24 I switched to lures and caught fish all day. Caught this 19" brood-stock Rainbow on a silver and green Kastmaster.

While heading back toward the West end of the lake fish started jumping so I switched over to a fly. Caught a number of fish including a 21" Rainbow and a 16" Brown.

Had a great time fishing!
