Hit Deep Lake this morning with a friend visiting from Iowa. long lining it using 2 1/2 oz lead back 80-120' moving 1.4-2 mph did the trick. And so did the Kokabow Chelan special! as it was the only lure we caught fish on. I tried several different things in my arsenal on the other rod, including other orange spinners, but nothing got the fish interested. another interesting thing i noticed was they were all female. finished after 4 hours with 9 fat 11" fish in the box. after we left Sun Lakes, we turned up the road and stopped at the Dry Falls lookout and visitor center. Hungry, we opted to try the "top chef" food truck daily special of pulled pork sandwich and cole slaw, Wow was that great! Delicious! if you get out this way, i recommend both Deep lake and the Dry falls visitor center. yes the ramp is slick, be careful if you step where it is slimy.
