The pictures show, good times were had by all! Thanks for the whacky rigging tip. By no weight, do you mean (no) bullet weight on the line above the hook or (no) drop shot weight?

wacky = hook the hook sideways at the middle of the worm, no weight anywhere. Sometimes use a nail weight in one end of the worm. Not necessarily a dropshot technique. But you can wacky a worm on the dropshot, I have quite a bit the past year.

I use a size 8 owner hook. Pierce it through the smooth spot..push the hook all the way through and stick the barb up into the worm. Makes it weedless and less likely to snag up on wood. Normally i put a small split shot just above the hook. But i went w/o the other day. The bit it better w/o. The worm falls like a bananna. Kinda wobbles? No bullet weight at all no drop shot. Nail weight? For what? Not a finesse guy this is as finesse as i get. My dad taught me this technique and he catches a ton of bass in the weeds back home in Wisconsin. And now on Tapps under the bridges..good luck guy! Nothing today though..tried it and the fish moved..

People use a nail weight, or even a nail, in one end to help the worm stand up on end, kinda like a crayfish. The fish like that now and then.
