Went back out to Meridian to give perch fishing another try. This time I added extra scent to my powereggs and still didn't get anything. I also used some cooked chicken as bait and that only got one small bite. Still not sure about what the perch are doing right now and where they are. Anyways after an hour and a half of perch fishing I tried for bass. I put on a Yamamoto 4" grub on a swimbait jighead. Second cast and I got a Smallmouth, just over a pound. Tried senko/grub for the next hour without another bite. Tight Lines!
