Was on the water by 6:25 am. Using my seahawk inflatable boat. The water is super low so not easy to even my boat into the water. There is very little clearance we really need rain.
Attempted to go for some bass but no success. I do not really have any bass lures. I had one mini bass on. My target for today was those holder overs from the fall.. the ones that look more like steelheads and are clipped. They have been getting nice big. I have caught many 13-14.5 inch ones. Also the flavor is far superior to the spring planted rainbows.

I decided to put worms on one poll while using various lures on the other. I rowed around and got lots of bits. When I stopped and the line sank bam..fish one. Man it was fun. These fish sure are fighters for their size. I easily limited on trout. 4 of the 5 those spring rainbows. I had a few on the lure. I would say they were at 20-30 feet again some more shallow. The newer trout are generally less deep. The fall plants seem to be deeper. I only managed to get one. I give it 4 stars cause I usually get 3 of those silver trout beauties, although they are starting to get some pink on the sides now. The fall plants all come from the issaquah hatchery and were supposed to go into the river to become big steelhead but did not make it there. Fish and Wildlife told me they are genetically steelhead.. not sure what that means. All I know is they tasty amazing.
