thought id try this lake, in search of some keeper size perch. went over to the lilipads, and tryed jigs. nothing. then, switched to good old fashioned worm. i got four perch, each about 4 or 5 " long. then i motored slow, to scope the bottom. not very deep ave 16-18'. started seeing marks on sonar, about 6-8 ft deep. dropped worm down about six ft. i was curious to see what the marks were. i caught four crappie. all about 6 to 7 inches long. easy releases. seems this lake is more of a nursery, than fishery. i will try another lake, in search of the perch. i also caught a pumpkinseed. best figher of all the fish.
