WOW! What a day. I was fishing at the Rainbow RV Resort off their dock, starting early in the afternoon. I had set up for panfish and bass, and fished for about 3 hours, without a single bite. I had used everything from a swimbait, to a topwater, to even a worm and bobber, and I still couldn't get a fish. Struggling, I tied on my old standby, a 5" senko. I literally dropped it off the edge of the dock, not even a foot from the edge and ZOOM, in comes a huge bass and it sucks down my senko. I couldn't believe how fast it reacted to the senko. I pulled the bass up and turns out its a 6.5 pound largemouth, my new personal best. Overall a great day fishing, one I'll never forget.
