If your a bass fisherman this is a good lake to go to. The boat launch is easy to get to and parking not far away with a toilet. When you launch into the lake head left and go to the end of the lake, there's a private dock there for the sons of Norway that you have to be a member to use and the fishing is great on this part of the lake. You can catch fish all over but this seems to be the money area. Went fishing with my dad and we caught and released about 25 or 30 bass this day. We kept our limit of keepers all under 12 inches. We rarely catch bass here in the upper limit of over 17 inches which you can keep only one. We mainly used a black plastic worm about six inches long, straight tail. My dad also fished with a fly rod using a popping bug and had plenty of action on the top water. This is a smaller lake with plenty of action. If your a trout fisherman like so many are, this is an easy catch here. I have a two pole endorsement and usually can grab a few trout too with just a bobber and night crawler. Fishing seems to be best in the morning before noon, but also picks up late in the day toward sunset.
