Went to Lake Washington with my Grandson. We arrived about 630am and first hit the log boom with one strike. We were using crank baits. Then headed north and I changed colors of crank bait and first cast caught a 2 lb SMB. Put same color on for my Grandson and we caught a couple more. We then headed to west shore and fished docks in about 20 ft of water and did real good. Added in a Drop Shot with the KVD Dreamshot. Did real well. We ended up with 17 SMB, two Squawfish, 1 yellow perch and two rockbass. I am attaching two of the fish my grandson caught today. I think he kicked my rear end overall. He will never let me live it down.

Man I fish that area all the time and get nothing! Any tips for a bass beginner? I usually dropshot a number 2 hook with a green senko

To truthandcisco I use a 1/0 hook and a Strike King Dream Shot. I do not hardly use a Senko at all except either TExas Rigged or on a Carolina Rig.

Maybe try a Sniper Snub, Bolt, or Magnum. Or try a Panic minnow. Number 4 or #2 hook.

Call Limit Out Performance Marine for stuff and info.

Your in Maple Valley, we should meet in town sometime and I'll show you what I use, Maybe at the Safeway store, it's 10 minutes from me. Limit Out is only 1/2 hour away during the day.

Thanks for the tips and invite the both of you! I've been working on my technique but it's refreshing to hear what works! Then I just know I have to get better at presenting. :)

Truthancisco you also should read, and maybe participate/ask questions, in the Bass Forum. Lots of info there. And lots of people that do things different so you can pick and choose how you want to do any technique.
