Got to Green lake around 7am. Fished from dock. One line for trout and one for carp. No signs of carp where I was at.

Had 4 bites but missed them. I'm guessing I had too small of a hook. Was using size 6 egg hook, I think. Switched to a size bigger and landed a 17.5" triploid around 8am. Used 2 orange and 2 chartreuse power eggs. No bites after that. Left at 8:45am.


Is it just me or is it always windy at Green Lake? I've been to this lake 4 times this yr and all 4 times it was windy.
