Hit Mineral Lake Resort around 6:45 am. Had a few snafus with rigging, but once I got my rig finally figured out and got in the right spot, fish on! First bite was at about 8:30 am, had three in 20 minutes, and three in the remaining 40 minutes. Hooked 6, lost one. Fun day fishing. Set my crawfish pots the night before on the way to my cabin, one at the Resort, the other off the public dock where all the logs are. Used liver for bait. Not a single one in either pot. I usually get a dozen or so from the Resort dock. Oh well, still got a whole season left to catch a good mess.
