Stopped by Ballinger on my way home met up with a familiar fisherman as well. I started throwing a watermelon worm at the pads with no luck on east side of the lake. headed towards south end of the island (wind free) switched to a white/green worm hooked into a few perch but no bass. I proceeded to head to the north end by the golf coarse. I had a few hits but i couldn't produce. i switched to a frog and started casting for pockets in the pads. Boom water explodes fish goes down and i end up loosing it due to the pads. damn. i will be back for the late evening bite, i noticed a lot more fish activity around 730 when i was getting off the water.
