I got to the lake about 10:30 AM.my friends barnes, and booie were already there and had picked up a few fish on mudler minows and may fly patterns.I used my pontoon boat for the first time ever on prices and after battling to get it down there I discovered that I had advantages in a lot of ways in compared to my float tube. I could get into and through shallow water a lot better and I could cover more water in less time. anyway back to fishing around noon the red dragon flies showed up and the trout were jumping all over the place. we were all using red dragon fly patterns but not catching as many fish as we felt that we should have, had a few takers but nothing like I felt it should have been. the boys went back to their other patterns and picked up a few and I changed over to a blue damsel and now all of a sudden things got better for me. I picked up three trout instantly and lost many many more due to fishing with my head up my **tt and being constantly rudely interrupted by my friends booie and barnes. weather wise it was one of the most beautiful days I spent on prices and I'm looking forward to going back this coming weekend with my other old buddy bob walker and I'm sure we'll knock em dead
