My friend, BJ, and I headed out to the non-restricted Vance Creek pond after leaving Lake Aberdeen. BJ was fishing a bobber with worm and egg, and I was using a brass blue fox spinner. The lake was packed and the fishing was outstanding. BJ caught his fourth fish of the day within minutes of casting out. Then he too switched over to a spinner so we spend the rest of the day catching and releasing until we had the fish we wanted. He continued to catch decent planters. I on the other hand, nailed three more lunkers; 24", 26", and 29" respectively. Eventually the rain got to be too much for us and after catching and releasing multiple fish, we headed home. All in all, a great day on the lake.
