No wind for a change, water like glass, blue sky, only three boats at the launch all day. Total anglers I encountered 5. There were no anglers fishing from shore that I saw and I worked the whole North side and the East side laker trench. I should have stayed home and mowed the lawn. Had two strikes - both smallies under 12 inches, two followers same size. Tried many offerings including Rage Craws, Senko's in Pearl, and Green Pumpkin, Sweet beavers in Green Pumpkin and Red Flake/Brown, and lizards.
No action so switched to Shad Raps in Perch color both jointed and one piece. Still no action. Went trolling two poles with a Little Cleo in perch pattern on one and a Rooster Tail in Fire Tiger pattern. Saw one fish taken that was a keeper- looked to a 3-4lb R aim ow. Caught trolling the trench on the East side. Might be awhile before I spend anymore time at this lake. 5 1/2 hrs little activity.
Most fish appeared on the screen at depths of 10'- 30'.

I have fished Deer numerous times in the past with the same results. It's off my list unless I just wanted to go to a nice place for not much action. I love to fish but love to catch even better!
