My wife and I launched our bass boat onto Mason Lake to see what was biting. Found lots of perch, mostly pretty small, lots of rock bass, some quite large for rock bass, largemouth bass, And, even one squawfish and a small bullhead. Fished until about one o' clock and then the jet skiers and water skiers and hot rodders started to show so we wrapped it up and quit. Beautiful sunny day on the lake. The launch ramp at the county park sucks. It is very steep, making recovery of your boat somewhat difficult. And, the channel out to the main lake is very shallow -- Watch your prop. Good luck!
