Not bad of a day, started late around 6pm. Try out some new gear. The Zman Ned Rig with a TRD on it work wonders. I was able to land a perch, rock bass, and surprisingly a trout ad well. But the best catch of the day was a 4lb largemouth.
It works wonders, I use light gear with it with 4lb test on a spinning rod. I'm surprised my line didn't snap, I was casting it into the fallen trees next to the shore when I got this one. Even just casting into the open water I was able to get bumps and landing those other species.
Looks like you are fishing from a boat. Is this lake okay for electric motors only? Is there a gravel launch that could handle a 16' bass boat? I have access to the post. Thanks in advance for any info.
I got a canoe, I've seen a couple boats in the water. Plenty of room to launch a boat. There is a gravel launch on both sides of the lake.
