Kim (pinkpole) and I met at the lake about 6am.
I trolled us over toward where Steelierob was trolling but he was too far and I wanted to anchor and start still fishing. Therefore I headed toward the south side to anchor in 45 feet of water.
We both were using Wannafish A Lure Still-fishing spinners with real maggots and red eggs.
We had lots of bites but we had a hard time hooking them. Kim got a kokanee into the boat at 7:20am. Her first still fishing she told me. I got a trout that I released before that. Then it was lots of bites but no hooking.
An hour later I got one in.
Then we moved just little bit deeper and I got 2 more. Kim had bites just could not hook them. We went through a lot of red eggs. Steelierob finally got his limit after trolling by us a few times. :)
We quit around 10:30am, after Alycia (schu7498) and her crew came looking for crappie. I have never seen any crappie here. So they left to go to Tanwax.
It was cloudy today. The air temperature for today might have hit 60. The water temp was 63.
We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.
