Fishing for largemouth, but on occasion, would catch a rainbow. I was using purple "unscented" rubber worms. Caught 15 bass and 2 trout. Bass were in the range of 2lbs to 4lbs and one of trout went 19 inches. All fished were released.

nice bass . Think I might have to head that way soon. that lake is special regs?

Yes, there are special regs for this lake. Also, the water is really low. If you have a small boat or float tube, you will be okay. I have a little 11 ft boat. I had to walk through the mud for about 20 feet till I could get into water where I could turn my motor on.

Yeah, the launch itse;f is closed. No trailered boats at all. Super low.
