I took my daughter with me to Blackmans today for a little trolling. We got started at about 9:30 and had bites pretty consistently on various lures: wedding rings, Wooly Buggers, Dick Nite spoons... The magic combination that brought our three trout to the boat (about 11:30-12:30) was a Dick Nite, light green with dark green spots, and one that was white and green, both tipped with a little rainbow Powerbait. All were caught & released. Always a good day when you're out on the water, so I rated this trip a 3 because we had fun and caught a few fish. Nothing extravagant, probably 11" or so, but I love seeing my kids hook a fish (even if the girl didn't want them coming into or near the boat, lol). The picture is the one my daughter hooked. :)

Just FYI, as far as I know all fish caught using bait must be retained.

I apologize (to everyone); that was an honest mistake on my part. I make every effort to follow all rules & regulations, and unknowingly breaking them doesn't feel good. Thank you WheresDaFish for letting me know, lesson learned.

Wheresdafish is absolutely incorrect, the law states all fish caught using bait count towards your daily limit whether kept or released. The way you fished was perfectly legal.
