Fished American lake with my brother and 3 yr old for 3 hours today. We trolled around the Camp Murray end of the lake with hot wings fish flash and shasta tackle sling blades, both finished with wedding rings. I always tip one rod with 1/2 a crawler, and one with corn. All in all we finished the day with about 8 takedowns putting 4 in the boat. Didnt get any Kokanee to the boat. I fished one setup heavier with 1 1/2 ounces of lead, and one on top with a 1/2 oz egg sinker. Had one fish on the surface, and the rest were deep. These fish key on scent really hard. most of the hookups were less than 2 min after I re baited, and added scent to my lures. Keep the bait fresh!
