Launched in rain from state park. Fished across from Wapato point. ran my favorite homemade bead spinner tipped with Berkley Honey Worms on one side, and this rigged turned out to be the hot rig of the day as all the fish i boated came on this. On the other side i ran a variety of things from the arsenal and baiting with corn, grabbing a few bites here and there, but ended up switching out to the same thing i ran on the other side to bring in another 2 fish into the boat. The smaller fish came from between 14-35' on the wire the larger came from 70-150 on the wire. just the opposite of last week, when the larger fish came from higher in the water column. ended the day with 15 bites, and 7 fish in the bag. 2 large fish i finessed all the way to the boat only to have the hooks pull before i could even get the net out. best speed was between 1.2-1.5 mph, with the last, largest fish came when moving pretty fast. All in all, a rainy morning turned into a wonderful warm day in the sun filled with great fishing.

Lake Chelan is tough to beat, I should have had a limit. BTW, Hunter, I tried the brown sugar recipe you mentioned at the get together, and they turned out delicious!

Nice for me to see those fish too; like 757 says I'd really like to go back again. Those are some really nice Kokes! I'd love to put another King in the boat too. Thanks for sharing - Alan
