Better late than never. This is for 5-10 and 5-11. It was beautiful Sunday so my wife decided late morning that going out on the lake would be a good way to spend Mothers Day. We launched at noon and by 2:30 had blown through three dozen crawlers, a lot since we were only using a half at a time. I called CF and he made a crawler run for us and we picked him up at the dock at 3:00 PM and he joined us for the rest of the afternoon. It was a C&R day as you do not bring fish home to clean on Morhers Day. We boated 50 keeper size walleye with an greater number of perch and dink walleye. Largest was 26 inches, our best of the year. The last 3 weeks we had been doing very well in 6-8 FOW on the south end but the fish were now in 9-11 FOW. Slow death hook,green/chartreuse beads and silver smiley blades was the best producer.

Monday CF went back for the Morning. Same depth and set ups yielded us 30 eyes between 17-21 inches although the bite really slowed after 10:30. It was a great couple days on the water.

Congrats!! We were out Mothers day evening. Wife just wanted to bottom fish for perch, no trolling. Pretty sure we saw you folks out there. I hope to try in the morning!!

We have been using mostly the larger size but doubt it really matters.
