Originally went out to fish for trout, but after my 4rth fish this huge bass swim by me in a very shallow water at first I thought it was a huge triploid but after a good stare at it it proves as a bass. So hurried up and dig through my tackle box and able to grab a water melon Senko and a #2 hook that I found in the lake I fished before with a rust on it but what the heck I'm not gonna let this bass swim by and tease me like this. Tied up a wacky rig and cast it under the tree where I thought it headed, a few cast letter seen a shadow check my rig, then shoot out to the Lilly pads, I hang unto it after set the hook, fight it loosely cause I got only 6 pound on my line, after a quite battle and people cheering behind like a Superbowl fans able to drag it off your just snap the line, guess what happen next? Yup! I jump in after that fish with foot wet and work pants dirty I was able to grab hold on this monster and for me it is a monster cause that's the biggest bass for me yet.shaking, fish in hand and wet shoes later took some photo for memories and send the fish swim home happy and me with a stories to tell after that I tried to cast more hoping to catch its friends but no ones home, pack my gears, head to work with a smile on my face that lasted for quite some times. Bass is 14.5".
