Shore fishing had quick results on this warm, sunny day with light breezes. We fished from near center of the lake, on the north shore. Largest fish caught was 12-1/2 ". Action was quick - there wasn't much time between hits. Bites were mostly light, but a couple really grabbed the bait. We landed 3 out of 5 bites. The bright green weeds helped the fish free themselves. I only lost my leader & more a couple of times. Quick retrievals helped with that.
There are a lot of little trout. Our bait of choice was a miniature marshmallow with 1/2 a nightcrawler. It floats about 12-17" off of the bottom.
