started fishing around 6, first fish by 7 was a 10' shaker, followed by a bite and miss, a 15" fish, then a 16"er, another bite and a miss, then a 14 1/2" fish by 9am. after this i couldn't seem to find the fish again, i prospected around for the next 2 hours with nothing marked, nothing caught. I went back to the area i caught the fish earlier and got another bite and a miss, another hour and got 1 last fish to the boat, the nicest of the day, and lost it at the net, dang it, a real heart-breaker! with the most recent bite, i had to keep fishing for a little longer, so i worked around for about 45 minutes with nothing, then decided to go in.
One of the 'bite and a miss' was from a broken leader at the trail hook, and two i never felt after get the line out of the clip. Most bites and fish, including the one i lost at the net, came on the "kokabow' lure by Hevi-beads that i got at the kokanee get together last weekend at 24-45' on the wire slow speeds. There was a lot of small bugs flying around, so i think the kokanee must have been up feeding on the hatch. the deepest bite came from 75' down.
