Hit Bonnie for the first time this year. Creek is the lowest I've seen it for this time of year. launch is still just awful. if you come out make sure you have a 4 wheel drive with some ground clearance, watched a guy about rip his undercarriage off launching a boat with a trailblazer. Anyways made it through in my 14 foot boat had to tilt the motor up got to the lake. The hydrilla by the Lilly pads on the south end has exploded sitting as high as the waters surface. Made it out of that cleaned prop off and proceeded to other end of lake.

Water was chocolate milk at the end by the creek buzzed the shoreline with the trolling motor north to south finally water cleared up to "stained" pitched to cover senkos, jigs, lipless cranks, lizards, spinners, chatters, swim baits, jerk baits every thing in every color and notta. Threw on a small jig for crappie.....notta. Changed game plan and headed to the island threw bass baits again caught one small dink put on the crappie jig and actually managed to pull 5 out. It was an ok day like any day on the lake is.

On a side note for those bringing out a kayak. If you hear a boat under power coming through the creek get out of the way. yall can move a lot easier than we can, just yield please and when ya do please yield on a strait stretch not the outside edge of a curve. Unless you wanna eat prop. Pulled out about 3 right when a swarm of pleasure kayakers where launching (must have been 20+) had to wait for them to launch before I could back the trailer down (made me late......ol lady was pissed) tight lines everyone
