I took the day off as a mental health day and decided to go fishing. I didn't want to travel to far so I thought Cady lake was a reasonable place place to go and catch decent size fish without all the time involved. I got on the lake about 10 A.M. I had the whole lake to my self. With only occasional rises I opted for a deep sinking line with a mini leech. Fishing was mostly inconsistent. All in all I managed to net 5 fish from 16 to 23 inches. There were midges coming off the water and I did try to suspend one off the bottom in about 25 feet of water but with no luck. The water temperature at the surface was about 70 degrees, so the fish didn't put up there usual strong fight. It was in the most part a good day off.
