CF and I could not get out until this afternoon so we launched at Montlake and had lines in the water at 1:30 with a bright sun and calm lake. The walleye did not seem to mind the conditions and after trying several depths we found the fish in 6-8 FOW. It was a C&R day for us and over the next 5 hours we boated 20 eyes between 17-20 inches. We had only a couple of dinks and about a dozen nuisance perch. A slow death rig with green/ chartreuse beads and a silver smiley blade was our main weapon again. Water temp was 62-64. It was interesting that we seemed to find pods of fish landing 2-3 in a row then a lag until we found another group but always at the same depth. It was another great time on the water today.
