CF and I could not get out until this afternoon so we launched at Montlake and had lines in the water at 1:30 with a bright sun and calm lake. The walleye did not seem to mind the conditions and after trying several depths we found the fish in 6-8 FOW. It was a C&R day for us and over the next 5 hours we boated 20 eyes between 17-20 inches. We had only a couple of dinks and about a dozen nuisance perch. A slow death rig with green/ chartreuse beads and a silver smiley blade was our main weapon again. Water temp was 62-64. It was interesting that we seemed to find pods of fish landing 2-3 in a row then a lag until we found another group but always at the same depth. It was another great time on the water today.

Yes, we were on the South end Mon but had done about the same on the North end Fri. From talking to others it seems like the fish are turning on and off depending on the day, weather, etc. Good luck next time.
