Rented a boat today, trolled from 7am till about noon. Used a few different colored dodgers and wedding rings. Wedding rings were red, and green, and tipped with corn. Trolled around the VA area, with about two ounces of lead. Not sure how deep I was, no good way to tell, I'm guessing anywhere from 10-25 feet. The fishing was a little aggravating, we caught two, and lost three. Still pretty fun though, just wish we came home with five trout instead of two. Two of the lost trout were lost right at the boat! I imagine the fishing would be much better if we had downriggers, and weren't fishing from a rickety 10' boat. Overall, I would call today a 2.9. I would post pictures, but my phone is being a pain, and not letting me upload anything for whatever reason.
