We launched at around noon or just after and worked the shoreline north to the walking/biking bridge then across the channel and down the far shore. We used a variety of spinners, buzz-baits, rattlin shads, wobblers, and other plugs in top, shallow, mid and deep diving configurations looking for pike. We managed one hookup with a nice fish, not seen, that got off well before we got it to the boat. Landed a large mouth of around 1.5-2 lbs after that and saw one other large mouth come after a large muskie spinner. That was it for the day. We did not actually see any pike and the one fish we lost was probably another large mouth. Still, gorgeous day on the lake and it sure beat working!
