Drove to the launch watching the "blood moon". Fished out across from rocky point. the bite turned on once the sun hit the water, lost the first small fish at the boat then went 1, 2, 3 fish on the stringer. finished with 7 in the boat having only lost the first fish of the morning. The largest fish was 16' and most fish surprisingly came from only 70' down in 220 fow. The lure of the day is in the picture, taking 5 fish, the Hevi-bead on the nose seemed to draw the strike. used short leader @ 1.2-1.5 mph

Nice job. We struggled to 5, Monument and Yacht Club. Everything super deep, making it hard to tell fish on at times. Didn't mark much at rocky point but we hit it middle afternoon each time so that could be part of it.

I marked a lot of fish at different depths, but the biters seemed to be higher in the column. i did get a couple from 120'. i talked to a couple others who only got a few, or none.

They are starting to move up in the column! FINALLY! No more 140' deep fishing
