Messed around for about 45 minutes casting a Rapala XR10 off the dock and caught two nice bows. The bigger one fought like a champion. Sideways rain chased me off. Talked to a guy at the launch who caught a 3 lb smallie trolling the north shore.

It's not. I moor a boat at Pinelow the old camp just past the access. But I'm sure if you stopped by and asked for the manager he would let you fish for a small fee. If I was more of a trout fisherman I'd never leave that dock. I see big Rainbows around that dock all the time early in the year like this. If you go out there let me know how you do. I haven't seen or heard of anyone catching em with bait ( i failed) but 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 inch Rapala's in rainbow trout pattern trip their trigger. Sent my dad and nephew out there and they got em on the Rapala's too
