I'd like to give it a higher rating. But part of me sez to give it a lower rating.

I fished from like 9:30am till nearly 4 pm.

I caught atleast 40 walleye. One I think I could have passed for 16. But it was so close depending on how I held it on the board I sent it back. Sharp contrast to fri and sat. Caught lots just shy of 16. But also caught some shorter than 14" unlike fri and sat.

No keepers.

I did have a great time fishing 2 poles. Constant actions with hits. Hook ups. I lost one very heavy fish. No clue.

I did come home with a doz perch. Biggest 13".

Fished and caught 25' - 55'.
Bouncers. Spinner worm set ups.
Thank god I was able to rig a pull start for my motor. I think I forgot to plug in my charger from the night before at the house. Had to fish the last few hrs with bow motor sucking power off the main motor at idle.

Fish checker at the dock told me come July they are changing the limit and slot on banks. 12" min. 8 fish limit. Hmmmm.

Also got word from him not a lot of keepers were coming in.

Fine day of fishing between gusts of wind.

I heard the same thing as far as 12'' & 8 fish limit. But, I've yet to see it in print. (I guess I better get out of the garden and online or on the water!) Thanks for the report.

Current regs are in effect until June 30 this year. I wonder how soon they will publish the new ones?
